According to Article 9 of the Measures for the Disclosure of Environmental Information of Enterprises and Institutions (adopted in December 2014, Order No. 31 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection), key polluting units shall disclose the following information: (1) basic information, including unit name, organizational code, legal representative, production address, contact information, as well as the main content, products, and scale of production, operation, and management services; （2） Pollutant discharge information, including the names, discharge methods, number and distribution of discharge outlets, discharge concentrations and total amounts, exceeding standards, as well as the implemented pollutant discharge standards and approved total discharge amounts of major and characteristic pollutants; （3） Construction and operation of pollution prevention and control facilities; （4） Environmental impact assessment of construction projects and other administrative permits for environmental protection; （5） Emergency response plan for sudden environmental incidents; （6） Other environmental information that should be made public.
